We’ve had several people ask so just letting you know we’re open 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM today. We’re having food, games, and prizes from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.
Please join us for a pool party from 12:00 – 2:00 PM for food, games, and prizes! Don’t forget you can also bring guests, and if you’ve already used up your 10 guest day passes, more are always available for $5 each.
In other news, we now have hot water in the showers thanks to Pool President BT’s boiler handywork.
How To Check For Pool Closures
The other day, we had an accident in the pool and had to close early. We’ve asked staff to start posting closures on our Calendar as well as being more diligent about posting a sign on the door. Also check out the 30/30 rule on the Calendar page. It explains our policy on lightning strikes and where we get our lightning strike data.
Bathrooms
We’ve received some comments about our bathrooms and are reminding our staff to perform more frequent checks to ensure they’re clean and stocked.
We’re thrilled to see so many families enjoying the pool this season! As our pool community grows busier, we want to ensure that the fun doesn’t come at the expense of safety. A few recent member observations have helped highlight areas where we can do better.
Reports of distracted guarding have been shared with the pool manager. All staff are being reminded of our policies around focus, professionalism, and the importance of remaining alert while on duty.
We’re compiling a clear set of pool rules and staff protocols, including expectations for off-duty conduct and guard rotations. These will be shared with members and posted at the pool soon.
We are exploring a mid-season training session to re-emphasize water safety standards and the importance of guard presence.
We’re grateful to our team of guards for keeping the pool open in a tight labor year—but we also recognize the importance of setting and maintaining high standards. We appreciate your partnership in this effort.
Thanks for supporting East Park Pool!

Safety Reminder: Large Floaty Toys Only On Fridays
We love seeing kids enjoy their giant inflatables, but we must ask you only being them on Fridays. These toys require extra supervision, and limiting them to designated times ensures our guards can maintain clear sightlines and prioritize swimmer safety.
