Closing Weekend, BBQ On Saturday

Dear Members and Friends,

As summer winds down, we want to thank each and every one of you for making this season at East Park Pool such a success. The last official day to swim will be Labor Day, so come enjoy the water while you still can!

Pool Closing & Volunteer Help

Next week we’ll be closing up the pool for the year, and we could use some extra hands. If you’d like to help, please stop by, call, or email us so we can coordinate the best time for you to come. Your support makes all the difference in keeping our pool running smoothly year after year.

End-of-Season BBQ Saturday

Join us for a BBQ this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. We’ll be serving burgers and drinks, and members are welcome to bring sides, desserts, or even something of their own to throw on the grill. It’s a great way to celebrate the season together

Join the Board!

East Park Pool is always looking for new board members with fresh ideas to help make the pool even better. If you’re interested in being part of shaping the future of our community pool, we’d love to hear from you.

Thank you again for being part of the East Park Pool family—we couldn’t do this without you. We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our members for your support this year, as well as to our guards and staff for keeping the pool safe, welcoming, and operational all summer long.

We look forward to seeing you at the BBQ, in the water this weekend, and back again next summer!

June 2025 Newsletter: Safety Update

Dear East Park Pool Members & Friends,

We’re thrilled to see so many families enjoying the pool this season! As our pool community grows busier, we want to ensure that the fun doesn’t come at the expense of safety. A few recent member observations have helped highlight areas where we can do better.

Reports of distracted guarding have been shared with the pool manager. All staff are being reminded of our policies around focus, professionalism, and the importance of remaining alert while on duty.

We’re compiling a clear set of pool rules and staff protocols, including expectations for off-duty conduct and guard rotations. These will be shared with members and posted at the pool soon.

We are exploring a mid-season training session to re-emphasize water safety standards and the importance of guard presence.

We’re grateful to our team of guards for keeping the pool open in a tight labor year—but we also recognize the importance of setting and maintaining high standards. We appreciate your partnership in this effort.

Thanks for supporting East Park Pool!

Safety Reminder: Large Floaty Toys Only On Fridays

We love seeing kids enjoy their giant inflatables, but we must ask you only being them on Fridays. These toys require extra supervision, and limiting them to designated times ensures our guards can maintain clear sightlines and prioritize swimmer safety.
