Still looking for volunteers who want to get CPR certified and help be coach attendants. Email volunteer@eastparkpool.org with your availability in the next two weeks for the in-person training. Takes a couple hours and we want to do it as a group.

We really need more CPR/First Aid certified volunteers so we’re not burning out the few we have. Most of the training is online. The in-person part only takes a couple hours. If you’re willing to help, please email us and fill out this calendar with your availability for in-person training.

The October utility bill was 3,899.10. That bill alone requires us to have 13 adult/26 youth swimmers per day. The chemical bill requires another 7.5 adult/15 youth swimmers per day. Then we have insurance and other bills.
In October, we saw an average of 9.8 adult/9 youth swimmers per day. Some people contribute more to keep us treading water, but just barely.
We are also struggling to keep coach attendants. We have a trainer willing to do a group training. We just need willing and able volunteers.
We are open for lap swim 6-8a and 4-6p weekdays. We are still looking for coach attendants for this weekend.
There is a heater on deck now thanks to Heath.

We’re still open 6-8a and 4-6p for lap swim M-F, and 9-11a weekends as long as y’all show up. We only have 2 swimmers this morning so far.

We could still use more coach attendants, or even better, lifeguards. We found somebody who can do these trainings in the next week or two for anyone willing to commit to the online training and a couple hours in person. Already First Aid/CPR certified? Would you be willing to volunteer a couple hours a week to be a coach attendant? It would really help avoid burning out our coaches.

Our normal weekend coach has a meet out of town this weekend. We are looking for a volunteer from 9-11a Saturday & Sunday, or if you’re only available for other hours, we can change the schedule. If you are willing and able, please email us at info@eastparkpool.org.

It’s 6:15 AM. Swimmers, where are you? We can only stay open if the bills gets paid and we’re operating at a 4-week average weekly loss of $322. So come swim. Or donate $10 to sleep in.

Now we really need you to show up and swim and volunteer to help keep the facility clean. And if you’re not CPR/First Aid certified, go get trained! There’s a class at The Family YMCA next week.
